Physician Employed Position
General Overview: Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon

Package:
• Standard term: 3 to 5 years
• Attractive salary – guaranteed base year 1; MGMA years of service in specialty basis
• Eligible for wRVU-based productivity bonus from beginning of employment
• Sign-on bonus offered
• Standard Paid Time Off: 15 days PTO; 6 holidays; 5 days CME
• $4,000 annual CME allowance – meeting registration/travel, dues subscriptions, etc.

• 2-room Open Heart Surgery Suite
• Dedicated nursing staff w/ dedicated Heart call
• 3 perfusionists
• Dedicated cardiac anesthesia
• Open Heart Recovery – 24-hour recovery; staffed with RN’s w/ 10 -15 years service
• Advanced Practitioners in surgery – PA, NP, RNFA
• NP makes rounds
• Beats the benchmarks

Candidate:
• BE/BC – graduate of accredited fellowship program
• Strong interest in hearts
• Experience required
• Comfortable with endovascular work
• Esophageal experience/interest a plus
