Rheumatology – Central Kentucky
Great position for a BC / BE Rheumatologist who is looking to become part of a New practice opportunity.. This hospital employed, outpatient practice has opened up for a rheumatologist due to increased demand for services, and to better support the community. At last count, the population served by this facility is 120,000. The position is affiliated with a 222 bed regional medical center accredited by the Joint Commission which also serves as a level III trauma center. Hospitalists are in house and coverage is 24/7. This position follows a regular 4 to 5 day work week where the rheumatologist can expect to see 35 patients per day.
Salary is guaranteed for two years. Year 1 is a guaranteed salary in the range of $300k. Year two salary is base salary plus productivity. No cap on potential income. Health And life insurance and malpractice insurance is covered by the hospital. PTO, disability, and malpractice are included as well as an annual continuing education allowance along with 5 paid CME days that do not affect PTO!
This area in central Kentucky thrives on its unique and rich heritage along with it's traditional southern charm located in the heart of an expanding technology zone. This area is home to classic architecture, down home food, and a warm friendly atmosphere. Located close to a major north-south interstate and is located halfway close to the major cities of Lexington and Louisville. A short drive will take you to the city of Cincinnati, Ohio which has major league sports and several universities. Reasonable home costs, good public and excellent private schools, close to a regional/international airport, and one of the top 100 universities in the United States are all within reach!
