The John D Dingell (Detroit) VA Health Care System is seekinga full-time Board Certified/Eligible Rheumatologist to join one other full-timeRheumatologist in delivering quality health care to veteran patients. Applicants should have a MD or DO degree, beboard certified in Internal Medicine, and have completed a fellowship trainingprogram in Rheumatology which is fully accredited in the United States. Aclinician-educator at the level of lecturer or assistant professor with aminimum of two years post-training clinical experience is highly preferable. Duties include providing direct andconsultative inpatient and outpatient care, teaching and mentoring rheumatologyfellows and participating in conferences related to the fellowship trainingprogram. Participation in clinicalresearch is encouraged but not required for the person accepted for thisposition.



This VA center is affiliated with the WayneState University School of Medicine and is a core site for the training ofWayne State University rheumatology fellows. This position carries a full-timefaculty appointment at Wayne State University. Faculty track and rank will bedetermined based on qualifications, publication record, and experience.
