The opportunity is to become employed by Canton-Potsdam Hospital as a full time Rheumatologist. Canton-Potsdam, despite its size, has become the most trusted hospital in the area due to its highly trained physician staff and its arms-length affiliation with the University of Vermont in Burlington. The community itself is an attractive university town. There has never been a Rheumatologist in the region; therefore the opportunity for an incoming candidate is wide open.
The practice will be 100% Rheumatology, unless the incoming physician would like to perform some Internal Medicine. Office hours will be 8-5, Monday through Friday with no inpatient call. The patient panel may consist of both adults and pediatric patients. There are multiple options for office space including new construction and with a 120,000 patient catchment area, the opportunity and volume potential is wide open and will be at the discretion of the incoming Rheumatologist.
