Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Imaging center seeking Board Certified Radiologist for locum tenens coverage 1-2 weeks per month in an outpatient imaging center. Assignment schedule includes Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm and approximately 40-50 reads per day (MRI, CT, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Dexa). Candidates must be proficient with arthrograms.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
