Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 05/04/2015Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Lackland Air Force base is looking for a general radiologist Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm with one. Required on call will average one out of every 4 weeks a month. Very low chance of call back. Must be board certified and have a BLS and active DEA. Carry a license in any US state. Must have two years experience in the last 3. This is a general radiology need doing reads in CT,MRI, US, Plain Film, Mammo, Fluoroscopy.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
