Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 04/27/2015Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The Navy is looking for a Radiologist for services at Oak Harbor, WA. The provider will need to be board certified and residency trained in radiology. The provider will need to have a current BLS and have at least 2 years of clinical experience. The provider will be working from 730am-430pm, Monday thru Friday. There is no call or overtime required. The provider will be reading Ultrasound, Mammogram, plain film, special studies of fluoroscopy and CT.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
