Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 05/26/2015Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A hospital in western Virginia is in need of 2-3 weeks per month of ongoing diagnostic radiologist coverage starting May 1, 2015. The radiologist will work at an outpatient center or the could also provide coverage at the main hospital, which is a Level 1 Trauma Center. This would include appox. 5 fluoro cases, and about 90 studies per day a balance in cross sectionals with few plain films per shift. No mammography and no other procedures required. The worksite uses AFGA Pacs and the voice recognition is Powerscribe 360. The position is Monday - Friday 8amn to 5pm, no call and no weekends.

The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
