Job Description:

New Interventional Position at VA Medical Center:

Dates: April 1st thru June 30th

Modalities Needed: General Radiology 25/day, Ultrasound 7/day, CT 10/day, MRI 3/day (2x per week).Perform interventional radiology procedures(and estimated amount of procedures): Abscess drainages-1/week,Thoracentesis-1/week,Lung Renal-Thryoid biopsies-2/week,Hip injections-1/month,Hip aspirations-1/month,Myelograms-1/month,Lumbar punctures-1/month,PICC lines-3/week,Peripheral angiography w/intervention-2/month,Renal angiography w/intervention-1/6 months,Venograms-1/month,Aerteriograms-1/week,Venous and Arterial stents-1/month,Biliary tubes & drainage-1/week,IVC filters-1/month,Cholangiography-1/month.

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 8:30 to 4:30pm
1 hour unpaid lunch

Call/Weekends: On-call coverage required for off-tours.

Will be working with other at least 2 other Rads

Other: Must be Board Certified.
Must use speech recognition software (Powerscribe) and PACS system
