Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

A radiology group in central Arkansas has a need for a Board Certified, MQSA certified diagnostic radiologist for one week a month on-going beginning in February 2015. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm. There is no call or weekends. The practice description is approximately 100 per day and consists of 15-20 Mammograms, 15-20 MRI, 10-15 Ultrasound, 10-15 CAT Scan and 20-30 plain film. Any procedures will flouro's, maybe 2-3 per day. The PACS system is McKesson and they use Powerscribe for voice recognition.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
