Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Site in Missouri needs 30 weeks of coverage in 2015. They are looking for energetic diagnostic radiologists who can read all modalities including mammography and also perform light interventional procedures. The average daily volume is around 65 studies per day. Light IR procedures: arthograms, biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
