Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Radiology group in northeast Arkansas needs vacation coverage for 10 weeks throughout 2015. This is a solo site in need of a diagnostic radiologist who can read all modalities including mammography. The volume is 75 to 80 studies per day, 10 of which are mammograms. The only procedures are needle localizations. Kodak Carestream PACS, and transcriptionist
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
