Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 01/01/2015Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A radiology group in southern New Hampshire is looking for ongoing diagnostic help Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm starting mid to late November. The radiologist must be board certified and able to read up to 100 studies per day. Two-thirds of the studies will be plain film, cat scan, and MR. The rest will be mammography and ultrasound.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
