Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Small community hospital north east of Cincinnati, OH is looking for a radiologist who can perform light interventional procedures primarily liver biopsies, cat scan or ultrasound guided breast biopsies, needle localizations, and Fluro cases, around 50 cases per month. In addition, the radiologist must be MQSA certified and will read 40 mammograms per week. If there is time between procedures the radiologist will be expected to read some plain film, cat scan, or ultrasounds. The group can work around any modality except mammography. The position will start the first of October and will be two days per week ongoing for approximately 6 months, the hospital would prefer Tuesdays and Fridays or Wednesdays and Fridays. No call, no weekends, and the hours would be 8am to 5pm. The PACS is Ram Soft and the dictation system is Dragon.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
