Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Outpatient women's breast imaging center of excellence in northern New Jersey is looking for a fellowship trained women's or breast imager to cover the practice. The days are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm every week starting the beginning of September for two months and the position could continue through the end of 2014. The volume is 35 patients per day with both screening and diagnostic mammograms. ultrasound and stereotactic breast biopsies, core biopsies, SNA's, and BSGI. Must be trained in Tomography and the voice recognition is Dragon Speak.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
