Radiology ? Massachusetts ? Southeastern Region ? Radiologist with training in CT and MRI Needed ? Balanced Lifestyle ? No Call and No Nights!
Physician-owned multispecialty group in southeastern Massachusetts has an immediate opening for a radiologist with training in CT/MRI/ultrasound and general radiology to join three experienced radiologists in their busy imaging division. The group of just under 100 providers has a Radiology Division that interprets studies performed in its main facility and satellite locations. The practice is best described as a large, non-academic community practice. The group is in a healthy growth phase, caring for a majority of patients in the area.
Modalities include: General radiology, CT, MRI, ultrasound, digital mammography, and non-invasive vascular studies
The radiologists do not perform biopsies, drainage or invasive procedures, obstetrical imaging, neonatal or pediatric imaging, major trauma imaging, nuclear medicine or molecular imaging studies
Board Certified (or Board-eligible) by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology
Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA)
Must have sufficient training to interpret CT and MRI studies
Opportunity exists for a leadership role in the Radiology Division for an individual with appropriate experience, training, and organizational skills.
Radiologists are on duty from 8 am until 6 pm during the week and a half-day on Saturdays. There are no night-time studies and no Emergency or on-call interpretations. Access is available to the PACS systems at nearby facilities to compare previous studies. PowerScribe speech recognition software is utilized. Salary is competitive and commensurate with the candidate?s experience, skill, and training. Physicians are eligible for corporate bonuses after 1 year and eligible for partnership with minimal buy-in. Moving expenses, health insurance, vacation, CME expenses, and a 401K are included. The facility is located within easy driving distance of major metropolitan areas and abundant recreational opportunities. Virtually any type of living environment from city or suburbia to waterfront or farms exists nearby. Easy drive from Boston, Providence, RI and Cape Cod!
