QuarterLine provides professional healthcare staffing services to military hospitals and health clinics across the United States. We are currently seekin a full-time Radiologist at Naval Hospital Jacksonville, Florida.

Hours/Schedule: The Radiologist will generally work Monday – Friday between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm. Shifts will generally be for an 8.5-hour period, including an uncompensated 0.5-hour meal break, or a 9-13 hour period, including an uncompensated 1-hour meal break. The Commanding Officer or designated Government representative shall schedule specific shift hours at least four weeks in advance.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Possess a Doctorate Degree in Medicine from an accredited college approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, a Doctorate degree in Osteopathy from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association, or permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
Residency: Graduate from a residency training program in Radiology approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education or the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association or those Canadian training programs approved by the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada or other appropriate Canadian medical authority.
Certification: Possess and maintain board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
Must maintain current certification in one of the following: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Course.
License: Possess and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license in one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Must be in good standing, and under no restrictions, with the state licensure board in any state in which a license is held or has been held within the last 10 years.
Must be current with and have completed all continuing education requirements.
Meet current Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements (compliance with the Mammography Quality Standards Act of 1992, P.L. 102-539) including documentation of continuing medical education.
Experience: Possess a minimum of 12 months experience within the preceding 36 months as a Diagnostic Radiologist in a setting of similar size and complexity.
References: Provide two letters of recommendation written within the preceding two years from practicing radiologists, physicians or lead radiology supervisor/chief technologist attesting to the HCWs clinical skills. Recommendation letters must include; name, title, phone number, date of reference, address and signature of the individual providing reference.
