Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Facility is seeking a diagnostic radiologist to work ongoing from November 1st through April 2015. This job will include all modalities including mammography plus light interventional, breast and thyroid biopsies, and fluoroscopy. Schedule will be standard 8-hour days. Monday through Friday between two locations that are a 15 minute drive apart. This is a busy practice.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
