Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 07/21/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Board Certified or Board Eligible Radiologist to provide coverage as soon as credentialed for 3 months with the option to extend 3 additional months. *Any State License. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm. No Call. General, trans-axial studies, Ultrasound, CT & MRI, Fluoroscopy Interpretation, reporting and performance of joint arthogram studies, ultrasound guided biopsy and fine needle biopsy. Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
