Need for a Radiation Oncologist for an employed position in Knoxville, Tn. We offer cutting edge equipment, an established referral base, and a fantastic opportunity for growth.
The practice has an excellent support staff and support team.
You will be affiliated with a Tertiary referral medical center, Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Centers. and the facility is one of just two hospitals in the state of Tennessee to be nationally ranked by the distinguished publication US News & World Report in its 23rd "America's Best Hospitals" report.
Need is due to growth and expansion.
Brand new 100,000 sq. ft. Cancer Institute recently opened. The Cancer Institute has experienced many program expansions in surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, the treatment of head and neck cancer, skin cancer, breast cancer, brain cancer, lung cancer, urologic cancer and micro-vascular plastic surgery, as well as patient support through social, spiritual, outreach education and screening and the Benefitting You Boutique is housed within the Cancer Institute.
The Radiation Medicine program operates three accelerators, including Cyber Knife, Varian TruBeam, and Varian IX with cone beam and RapidArc.
Call will be shared and is quite rare.
