Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 02/17/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Radiology group in Deleware is looking for ongoing diagnostic coverage starting ASAP through June. The radiologist must read all modalities including Mammography. The average daily volume is 100 studies per day and there will not be any proceedures. Board Certification is required and the group utilizes GE Centricity PACS and Powerscribe voice recognition. Hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and there is a possbility of some evening call or weekends.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
