Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Client seeking Radiologists for ongoing, sporadic dates of coverage. All radiologist candidates must have NV and CA licensure and must be proficient in Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine and minor procedures. There will be no night call, but possible weekend call. Mammography is all digital and the practice uses Phillips - 1 - Sight PACS and dictation. Daily reads are 35 plain film, 8 CT, 2 Nuclear medicine, 10 Mammography, and 5 MRI for a total of 60 reads per day.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
