Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Radiology group in the Dallas / Ft. Worth areas is in need of a board certified Interventional Radiologist to cover from early February until July on a full time basis. Hours will be 8am to 5pm. This is a 100% interventional position performing 10-15 procedures a day. Procedures include biopsies, drainages, central lines, dialysis access interventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, IVC filter placements, angioplasty, stenting, arteriograms, venograms, biliary interventions, nephrostomies. Possibly TIPS, TACE, SIRT, Kyphoplasty, and chemo embolizations.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
