Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The requisition is for 1 FTE Radiologist Locum Tenen Physician with any unrestricted state license. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. This is a PSC agreement, no malpractice insurance is needed and there is no IFF Fee. The reads will be mammography, MRI, general, and some minor procedures as well as call will be 1:3 and a minimal amount of call back. The Locum Tenen Radiologist must have BLS, ACLS, ATLS and PALS. They can be either Board Certified or Board Eligible based on past work experience short term need.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
