Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
Our client in Northern Louisiana is in need of coverage starting in January 2017 through July 2017 and possibly extending. General Diagnostic with mammo and light IR required. Must be able to do breast needle localizations and have 3D certification or be able to obtain it prior to start date. The schedule is M-F 8-5, no call, no weekends. The daily volume is between 80-100 reads per day and about 3-5 procedures per week. 10% mammo, 20% CT, 60% PF, with the rest MR/US.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
