Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens

A hospital based radiology group in south Texas is looking for ongoing women's imaging coverage full time starting January 2017 for about 6 months. The job is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm every week ongoing. No call and no weekends. This is a team environment with two radiologist's working at the women's imaging center. The radiologist must be currently Texas licensed, MQSA, and board certified. The radiologist will read 60-70 mammograms per day and then additional general diagnostic work between mammograms off the shared work list. The PACS is Fuji and the voice recognition is Powerscribe 360.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
