Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
Level I trauma center in Kentucky needs ongoing help in vascular interventional radiology. Interventional fellowship required. No neuro procedures. This is a 100% interventional position starting Mid October ongoing with full time coverage needed. Will accept more than 1 provider. Monday -Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The rotation for weekend coverage, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM, is about 1:4. This position also requires weeknight and weekend call. Must have someone seasoned who can handle trauma, pediatrics, cancer center patients and transplant patients. Will consider candidates for weekend coverage and call only. The Core procedures are angioplasty/stent replacement, Peripheral embolization (coil, PVR, chemoembolization, etc.), Percutaneous Visceral Interventions, TIPS, Biliary drainage/stent, Nephrostogram/Nephrostomy tube placement, biopsies & drainage, Ureteral stent placement, Vascular Access/Intervention, Implanted vascular ports, and AV fistula thrombolysis/intervention.
An interventional radiologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and techniques to diagnose and treat patients for various conditions.
