Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
A hospital in western Indiana is looking for an board certified, fellowship trained interventional radiologist who is available for the weeks of 8/22 - 8/26 and 9/6 - 9/9. The position is Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with optional weeknight or weekend call. The radiologist will perform 5 to 10 procedures per day primarily consisting of venograms, fistulagrams, arteriograms, percutaneous, nephrostomy, percutaneous Internal external nephroureteral stents, liver biopsies, port placements, tunneled catheters, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, abscess drains, and IVC filters. In between cases the radiologist will be expected to read diagnostic cases of plain film, cat scan, and ultrasound. The volume of diagnostic studies is flexible and depends on how the day goes. The PACS system is Emageon and the voice recognition is Powerscribe 360.

An interventional radiologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and techniques to diagnose and treat patients for various conditions.
