Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
Our client in Kentucky is seeking a Fellowship Trained Pediatric Radiologist with ongoing availability to start October 17th 2016 ongoing. (CAQ certified preferred) Schedule - Monday - Friday plus weeknight call (5 p - 8 am) and 1 in 3 weekend call (starting Friday 5 pm - Monday 8 am). Worksite averages 100 reads per day: CT, US and PF (occasional MR). PACS is Horizon, and Powerscribe voice recognition.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
