Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Our client in GA is looking for coverage 3 days every other week. The days are flexible and the hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 pm. Average daily volume will be between 60-70 reads per day and an average of 1 procedure per day. The breakdown is MR-5, Mammo 5, CT 5, US 5 and the rest PF. Will only be performing light IR procedures-consisting of Barium Enema, Arthrograms, Hip Injections, Lumbar Punctures, Thyroid Aspiration, Thora, Para, Breast Needle localization, Abscess drainage, liver and lung biopsies.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
