Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 06/27/2016Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Our client in OH is looking for a general radiologist for 1-2 weeks per month starting in July through the end of 2016 and possibly extending for approximately 30 weeks in 2017. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8-5, no call, no weekends. The radiologist would read 100-120 studies a day with 90% being PF and 5% CT, 5% US. The PACS system is Siemens and they use a transcriptionist.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
