Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 06/10/2016Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Our client in Kentucky is seeking a Night General Radiologist with Emergency Department experience and ongoing availability to start June 10th through September 22nd with the possibility to extend. Schedule - Friday through Thursday 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. One week on/One Week off. Worksite averages 140 reads per day: 50 CT, 8 US 1-2 MR, and 75-80 PF (occasional MR). PACS is Horizon, and Powerscribe voice recognition.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
