Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 05/02/2016Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Our client in Southern Georgia is in need of coverage 2-3 days per week 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM starting April 18 ongoing. The facility utilizes GE PACS system and powerscribe 360, voice recognition. The radiologist will be solo and reading 90-100 studies per day. The breakdown is: MR 6, US 15, CT 25, Nuclear 2, Mammography 20, PF 30, basic MSK 3-4 (knees and shoulders) if possible.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
