Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Solo practice in South Carolina is in need of one week's vacation coverage this summer, flexibility on the week. Must be board certified and licensed in South Carolina. The radiologist must be able to read all modalities including mammography. The hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, no call, and no weekends. The average daily volume is 120 studies per day consisting of 25-30 cat scans, 15-20 ultrasounds, 8-10 mammograms, 2-3 nuclear medicine studies, and 50 plain films. The radiologist will also perform 2-3 procedures per day consisting of breast biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and PICC lines. PICC lines is a preferred skill, not required. This site has wonderful and efficient radiology techs and the radiologist must also have a pleasant personality. The site needs coverage May 26-28 Thursday to Saturday.
