Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 06/24/2016Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A hospital system in Minnesota is looking for a diagnostic radiologist to provide 1-2 weeks per month of coverage starting June ongoing. Hours are 8-5. No Call, No Weekends. The radiologist will need to read all modalities, including mammography. The PACS is Siemens and the voice recognition system is Powerscribe 360.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
