Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 07/04/2016Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Our client in Southern Louisiana is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with ongoing availability. Multiple positions available.
Dates: June 27th through December 30th and possibly ongoing
Schedule: M-F with occasional weekends
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hour day)
Certifications: ACLS/BCLS, fellowship preferred but not required.
Practice Description: Daily average would be about 80 reads a day with about 40-50 CT-MR-Ultrasound and the rest being plain film. No Mammo required at this time.
Travel and Lodging provided. 2 weeks on/2 weeks off also available.


Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
