Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Board Certified Interventional Radiologist to provide coverage 6/11/15-7/10/15. Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm and call on all nights and weekends. Provide the following procedures: Angiography, Balloon angioplasty, Chemoembolization/Y90 Therapy, Cholecystectomy, Drain Insertions, Embolization, Thrombolysis, Biopsy, Radiofrequency ablation, Endovenous laser ablation, Endovenous laser ablation of varicose veins, Cryoablation, Line insertion, IVC filters, Vertebroplasty, Nephrostomy placement, Radiological inserted gastrostomy, Dialysis access & related interventions, TIPS placement, Biliary intervention. Must have BCLS and ACLS and DEA.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
