Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day Shift
Our client in Kentucky is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist with ongoing availability.
Dates: Jan 4th 2016 through July 1st 2016 with a possible extension.
Schedule: M-F with occasional weekends and evening call.
Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Practice Description: Daily average would be about 100 reads with about 30-35 CT, 10-15 MRI, 10-15 US and the rest being plain film. No Mammo required at this time.
Certifications: Board Certified, Fellowship Trained and must have BLS and DEA.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
