Radiologist Position Available in Beautiful Northern Maine

Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent, Maine is looking for a top-notch BC/BE Radiologist to join their team.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
• Full-time -40 hour/week position
• Solo radiologist position: 5 days a week, 8-5pm. Nights and weekends (Rapid Radiology)
• Occasional on-call.
• Modalities: Plain Film, Ultrasounds, MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Bone Densitometry, Barium Swallow, Needle Guided Biopsy Procedures. Needle Guided Aspirations, Fluoroscopy Procedures
• Everything is on PACS
• 64 Slice CAT Scan, Digital Mammography system, 1.5 MRI system.
• BENEFITS INCLUDE: Medical Care Insurance Plan options, 403B Plan with generous 50% matching available; pay one hundred (100%) percent of a short-term and long-term disability plan in accordance with NMMC Policy; $50,000 Life Insurance Policy, up to $10,000 for moving expenses; Complimentary hospital housing may be provided for up to 3 months based on availability.

• On-site helipad to transfer patients to a tertiary care center. We have 2 operating rooms.
• 49-Bed hospital with 7-bed child unit and 9-bed adult unit, average census is 8.5 beds and average length of stay is 14 days. Child unit usually 6 years of age and above, occasionally below 6 years of age.
