A radiology group is looking for onsite nighttime teleradiology coverage from 8pm to 5am in an acute hospital setting, solo. The facility is located in northeastern Massachusetts. The coverage will start November 1st and will continue for at least two months, maybe longer. This job will be filled by two radiologists each working 7 days on and 7 days off rotating. The radiologist will be expected to read as many studies as they can of plain film, cat scan, MR, and ultrasound. In addition, if the radiologist is foreign trained they must have completed their radiology residency in the United States.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
