Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Client in central Colorado needs ongoing coverage for half days for the entire summer. Monday to Friday 4 hours per day from 8am to 5pm. No call, noweekends, no procedures and no mamograhy. The radiologist should hopefully have the ability to cover for a full day on occasion. This is not a solo site and the volume is 35 studies per day consisitng of 60% plain film, 20% cat scan, 8% MR, and 12% ultrasound. The PACS is CPSI and they have a transcriptionist
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
