Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 10/05/2015Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
A radiology group in western New Jersey is looking for a United States trained radiologist who is CAQ'ed in neuro radiology to start October 2015. The radiologist will read all high level neuro cases around 40 MR, 20 cat scans, and some plain film each day. There will be no procedures. The PACS system is Fuji and the voice recognition is Powerscribe 360.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
