Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 08/24/2015Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
The Air Force is looking for a diagnostic radiologist for services at Mountain Home Air Force base in Idaho. The provider will need to be board certified and residency trained. The physician will need to have at least 24 months of experience in the last 36 months doing diagnostic reads. The provider will need to have a current state license and a current BLS thru the American heart association. The provider will be working Monday thru Friday from 730am-430pm, with no call or overtime required. The physician will be asked to read CT, US, Nuclear, MRI, and Fluro.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
