Hospital based practice of 6 seeks another IR and Breast Imager – both will do general diagnostics as well. This is a high-volume, fast paced practice doing in the mid 20k per rad. IR can expect 30%+ IR (complicated cases) and balance in general (mammo is available but not required). Breast Imager can expect 50% breast imaging. The hospital has 100% 3D Tomosynthesis. Work out of a 320+ bed hospital and other smaller hospitals and clinics. General diagnostic call is 1:7 call with nighthawk at midnight. With two doctors on each weekend equals 1 or 2 weekends a month. Post call day off and with other bonus days off, average is a 4 day workweek. IR call is 1:4 but it is slow after hours and it is rare to get called out. 300k base salary, 8 weeks vaca/cme first year, benefits include health, vision, dental, disability, malpractice, 53k contributed into retirement annually, CME stipend. Partnership after 3rd year for new graduates. Buy in into receivables is calculated at time of partnership. Has been around 60-70k (give or take) and is paid out of salary in installments. Partnership income on W2 has been around 700k last couple of years (not counting retirement money and benefits!)
