Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Diagnostic Radiologist
Wants someone strong and accurate for very busy practice.
Must read all modalities, strong Mammo, MR, CT. 2 locations and Imaging Center:120-125 reads per day - majority of time spent screening Mammo & 10 diagnostics / per day, along with CT, fair amount of US, PF, and Fluoroscopy. Hospital: 125-180 reads a day, CT, US, Nuclear Medicine, plain film, Myelogram (2-3 a day) & fluoro.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
