Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Women's imaging center in the Houston, TX area is looking for a women's imaging radiologist to fill in for some Mondays and Wednesday in June and July. Will read an average of 60-70 Mammograms per day, 25 of which will be screenings. Will also perform Ultrasound guided needle biopsies and bone density screenings. The center uses Penrad reporting system.
Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
