Radiologist - (Radiology) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

A radiology group in the central valley of California is in need of a CAQ'ed Neuro fellow to help out from 5/21 to 7/13. The job will be primarily Monday to Fridays, but there will be some call and weekends in rotation with the group. An average day entails 40 neuro studies consisting of MR, cat scan and some plain films. There is no procedures or mammography. The PACS is AVreal and voice recognition is Powerscribe.

Radiology(locum tenens) is a medical specialty that diagnoses and treats internal diseases (such as tumors) with the use of imaging technologies including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound, and nuclear medicine. The role of the radiologist includes developing images and interpreting the data. Interventional radiologists utilize these imaging techniques to perform medical procedures, typically minimally invasive.
