Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

The Air Force is looking for a qualified Radiologist for services at Nellis Air Force base, just outside Las Vegas. The provider will need to be board certified and residency trained. The provider will need to have a current BLS and ACLS thru the American Heart Association. The physician will also need to have a current and unrestricted state license along with an active/ fee paid DEA. The government requires that the physician have 24 months of experience in the last 36 months.
The physician will be working in an out patient setting working Monday thru Friday 730-430. The physician will be required to be on call and that will average 1 week every 3 weeks. This is a long term assignment and a long term provider is highly desired.

An interventional radiologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and techniques to diagnose and treat patients for various conditions.

Nellis Air Force Base is located just a few miles away from Las Vegas. The base has a rich and distinguished history, being home to the 57th wing of the Air Force Warfare Center. Nellis is responsible for training some of the US Air Force's most decorated units. When not engaged in training or duty, residents can take the short trip to Las Vegas to enjoy many recreational and entertainment options, making it an ideal location for both leisure and work.
