MedCare Staffing is seeking a Board Certified Interventional Radiologist for locums coverage near Newark, New Jersey. Coverage begins October 1st, 2014 and extends for two four-month periods.
Monday through Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Call may be required in emergent situations.
Scope of Practice: Includes but are not limited to, the usual procedures of Interventional Radiology such as: Arteriovenous Malformations(AVM), Angiography, Balloon Angioplasty, Biliary Drainage and Stenting, Central Venous Access, Embolization and ChemoEmbolization, Hemodialysis Access Maintenance, Gastrostomy tubes, Renal Biopsy, Stenting and Stent-Grafting, Radiofrequency Ablations(RFA), TIPS (transhepatic shunt), Vena Cava Filter, MR Angiography, CT Angiography, Biopsies (bone and soft-tissue), Abscess drainage.
Requirements: Provider must be Board Certified with fellowship training and an unrestricted medical license. Provider will need ACLS certification and CAQ status in Interventional Radiology.
