Interventional Radiologist - Physician - (Radiology - VIR - Inter Rad) Locum Tenens

Hospital in southern Connecticut is in need of a full time fellowship trained interventional locums radiologist for the following dates in 2017: 6/5-7/7 (M-F), 8/14-8/18, 8/28-9/1, 9/4-9/8, 9/25-9/29, 10/2-10/6, 10/23-10/27. There is the possibility of permanent placement for interested candidates. The client is open to splitting up the weeks as needed with multiple candidates. Radiologists need to be ABR certified. Team environment, working with 1 other radiologist. Candidates need to be comfortable with all interventional procedures 2-3 procedures per day. In addition, the radiologist will also be required to read an average of 50 mixed diagnostic studies per day consisting of 15 ultrasounds, 10 MR, 7 cat scans, and 20 plain films. Mammography is not required and other modalities can be worked around if needed. The worksite uses Phillips PACS and Powerscribe 360 VR. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm or 10am to 7pm. The radiologist will also do some evening

An interventional radiologist(locum tenens) is a physician who utilizes minimally invasive, image-guided procedures and techniques to diagnose and treat patients for various conditions.
